The Democratic National Committee on Saturday thanked Sarah Palin for the strange, erratic speech at the Iowa Freedom Summit.
During her speech, Palin defended her most recent media stunts, like the photo of her son using the family dog as a step stool and a picture of her holding a sign that read, "Fuc_ You Michael Moore."
...
"It is they who point a finger not realizing that they have triple that amount of fingers pointing right back at them revealing that they are the ones who really discriminate and divide on color and class and sex," Palin said about the left. "We call them out. We dont let them get away with it."
During Palin's speech, both conservatives and liberals mocked her speech as incoherent.

(22,978 posts)I would hope that trying to diagram one of her sentences would be classified as a form of torture under the Geneva Convention. Hell, just listening to one of her speeches could be considered torture!

(65,616 posts)must love the hatred and self-superiority she oozes from every pore. I am glad she is getting mocked from all corners. Even the losers as Foxnews couldn't stand her! Now what does that say about her? She does however have a soulless mate!

(13,141 posts)who have no idea what the Dunning Kruger effect IS:
now that I know, I can present you with a wixplanation.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunning%E2%80%93Kruger_effect
The DunningKruger effect is a cognitive bias wherein unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly rating their ability much higher than is accurate. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their ineptitude. Conversely, highly skilled individuals tend to underestimate their relative competence, erroneously assuming that tasks which are easy for them are also easy for others.
As David Dunning and Justin Kruger of Cornell University conclude, "the miscalibration of the incompetent stems from an error about the self, whereas the miscalibration of the highly competent stems from an error about others."
The phenomenon was first tested in a series of experiments published in 1999 by David Dunning and Justin Kruger of the Department of Psychology, Cornell University. The study was inspired by the case of McArthur Wheeler, a man who robbed two banks after covering his face with lemon juice in the mistaken belief that, as lemon juice is usable as invisible ink, it would prevent his face from being recorded on surveillance cameras. <-- THIS

(3,741 posts)She is a small time gossip, the kind who causes all kinds of trouble at the work place. She is the office manager who runs the place by using politics - trying to turn one against the other with petty gossip and drama. She has worked next to you sometime in your work history (maybe right now) and is the main driver of low work place moral. You think that if she likes you, you are safe from her vicious attacks but, she has no loyalty. She will stab you into the back as soon as your usefulness is over. And she won't just be happy with a stab in the back, she will do everything she can to get you fired from your job. We all know who she is. I have lived long enough to have seen many a Sarah Palin, a dime a dozen, ignorant, mean and bitter person. If the conservatives want to embrace her, I say great! She will go after them someday over something stupid and move on to the next group of idiots.
After her so called ground breaking speech at the Republican convention in 08' my brother called me and asked me what I thought, I said ..... and I quote " The only place she can go from here, is down." Her sphere of influence get smaller everyday.

It is not going to end well for that semi-literate lunatic.
