Romney Losing the Rupert Murdoch Primary

Romney Losing the Rupert Murdoch Primary

New York Times: “In the delicate and unseen campaign underway for Mr. Murdoch’s affections in the next presidential campaign, this much is clear: Mr. Romney is out of the running, a reality that has pained and angered his allies. Presidential politics is rife with grudges and grievances, but it is hard to recall a display of animus as unsubtle as that which Mr. Murdoch and corners of his media empire have unleashed on Mr. Romney in the past few weeks as he has tried to build support for a third presidential run.”

to Jennifer Rubin at WaPo--she is the mindless mouthpiece of GOP and neocon interests. She loved Romney so much in 2012 it was embarrassing. Now she is openly mocking him. As a side note, she was formerly so jazzed about Benghazi that it earned her the nickname "Jenghazi"--today she's imploring Trey Gowdy to back away from the investigation, calling it small potatoes. Which tells you that the GOP and their CIA/defense buddies are starting to fear that Benghazi could take down more than just Hillary Clinton. In other words, when she says Benghazi should be dropped, we should bust it wide open, there's something there.
