GUSTINE, Texas -- A small Texas school district said Tuesday it's investigating an incident in which several elementary students were ordered to pull their pants down after feces were found on a gym floor.

Boys were taken to one room and girls to another Monday to have their underwear exposed for inspection, a parent of one of the Gustine students told WFAA-TV.

Parent Maria Medina said she was furious after learning students, including her 11-year-old daughter, were told to lower their pants so school workers could find the culprit behind the waste.

"I was furious. ... I mean, I was furious," Medina told the Dallas TV station. "If you can't do your job or you don't know what you're doing, you need to be fired. You shouldn't be here."
