Romney Advises Young People to Borrow from Their Parents

Mitt Romney had some advice for students at Ohio's Otterbein University, telling them that if they want to start a business or pay for their education, they should just borrow from their parents.

Said Romney: "Take a shot, go for it, take a risk, get the education, borrow money if you have to from your parents, start a business."

He is so far from knowing how regular people live, it's not funny.

How could he not know that if parents had the money we wouldn't want our kids to have to borrow it!

Even when Romney was in college he sold stocks he was given to pay for expenses. He just thinks parents all have money to give...

When the jobs are gone, insurance and property taxes take up your paycheck what is left?

The republicans make it harder and harder to go to college then look down their noses at people who can't get a good paying job.

as a great source of fundraising.

Of course, he never did that in public or as a presidential candidate.

Romney is like the boy in the bubble. A new low for the GOP, which is saying something.

Isn't it neocon/repub philosophy to borrow from others you never intend to pay back, but year after year convince them to somehow keep investing in you?

Clearly has lived in a vaccuum, an too stupid or arrogant to try to learn about how the majority of Americans live.

Well, except for the fact that if parents had the money to help their children start a business, then they would probably just help their children through school. He really doesn't seem to be grasping the concept that some people aren't rich.

was truly pathetic, wasn't it?

Romney couldn't get 'on fire' with a match and fluid. And by the way, my single mom never even made $20,000 a year in the typing pool. Child support for me was $50.00 a month, never paid.
I worked as a waitress after school my senior year in 1971 and still had to do my homework.

I'm so mad right now.

but he also seems untrainable. He shoves both feet in his mouth up to his thighs, then, when he manages to at least get his knees out, he shoves 'em back in again.

gamble, take risks, go into debt for school, borrow money from your parents to start a business, it isn't like the 'job creators' are going to do any of that for you. They aren't taking any chances on you unless it nets them money you're on your own. Your future is on YOU job creators aren't investing in the country, education, etc they aren't loaning money for you to start a business with your high school diploma for pete's sake you'll have to pay them for the privilege to go to school and accrue debt so you can then borrow more money to start a business a week out of college.

Your best bet is to borrow money from mom and dad cause no one else is going to help you, including me, ROMNEY 2012!
