What Colbert said to David Koch at the TIME Magazine Awards

Of course, all of us should be honored to be listed on the TIME 100 alongside the two men who will be slugging it out in the fall: President Obama, and the man who would defeat him, David Koch...

Little known fact, David's brother Charles Koch is actually even more influential. Charles pledged $40 million to defeat President Obama, David only $20 million. That's kind of cheap, Dave. Sure, he's all for buying the elections, but when the bill for democracy comes up, Dave's always in the men's room. I'm sorry, I must have left Wisconsin in my other coat.

I was particularly excited to meet David Koch earlier tonight because I have a Super PAC, Colbert Super PAC, and I am -- thank you, thank you -- and I am happy to announce Mr. Koch has pledged $5 million to my Super PAC. And the great thing is, thanks to federal election law, there's no way for you to ever know whether that's a joke.

By the way, if David Koch likes his waiter tonight, he will be your next congressman.

My GOOPer Congressman, Kevin McCarthy got his start in the deli business. He got into politics by sticking his head up former Congressman Bill Thomas's ass, who no doubt was funded by the Koch industries, and now holds his uncontested congressional seat, much like a kinglet.

It seems that too many of our "leaders" are where they are today by kissing asses and kowtowing than by ability.

a New Jersey Mafia family Don. Simone Rizzo "Sam" DeCavalcante (1912 – February 7, 1997), known as "Sam the Plumber", was a member of the New Jersey Mafia. Claiming descent from the Italian royal family, DeCavalcante was nicknamed "The Count".[1] The Kefauver hearings later named his crime family the DeCavalcante crime family since he was the boss of the family current to those hearings.

I really admire his ability to stand in front of a bunch of total assholes tell them how and why they are total assholes and then get invited back.

His White House Correspondents Dinner speech going after the media was sheer brilliance. He had damned near everyone in that room skewered on a spit and they knew it.
