Texas mom brings gun to daughter’s high school fist fight

TORONTO – A fight between two high school girls in Texas took a dramatic turn when cellphone video later revealed one of the girl’s mothers had crashed the brawl – with a gun.

Now, the pistol-packing parent is facing criminal charges, while the family of the other girl involved says they’re mortified about what might have been.

Victoria Myers, 14, said she showed up for a fight behind Pasadena High School in Pasadena, Texas, earlier this month.

She told KHOU News in Houston, Texas that the fight was over a boy, and that she had been challenged to show up by a girl she says she barely knows.

4. The mother should have stopped the fight

No responsible adult show condone this type of violence, let alone get involved carrying a gun. I hope the mother gets jail time, a big fine and this incident on her record.
