Racism in itself is a disappointing ill in our society, but seeing young children carry on those horrible attitudes is downright depressing.

An unsettling video recorded by a young Sikh boy named Harsukh Singh has recently gone viral, capturing kids on a Chattahoochee Elementary school bus in Duluth, Georgia bullying him and calling him a terrorist. This footage has outraged many and highlights a huge problem with our youth today:

In the clip, Singh faces the camera and says, “Kids being racist to me.” Behind him, other students harass him – most notably one girl, who stands up and shouts “Terrorist!” while pointing to him. In the video’s original description, Singh had written:...

This video not only shows how ugly racism can be, but it points out how ignorant people are. Sikhs are often mistaken for Muslims despite that fact that Sikhs have nothing to do with Islam. This video makes it perfectly clear that children need to be better educated on racism and religion.
