Is there ANYPLACE they don't have their tentacles?
http://www.adn.com/article/20150304/national-conservative-group-targets-anchorage-mayoral-candidate-berkowitz
The conservative group Americans for Prosperity brought national politics into the Anchorage mayoral race this week by running radio and Internet ads tying candidate Ethan Berkowitz to President Barack Obama. The ads also paint Berkowitz as a big spender.
The Virginia-based organization, founded by the billionaire industrialist Koch brothers, pushes for smaller government and lower taxes and against increasing the minimum wage. An Alaska chapter began operating in August, and the Berkowitz ad appears to be the groups first foray into a local mayoral race.
Anchorage voters are going to vote on Anchorage issues, said Nora Morse, a spokeswoman for Berkowitz. The Koch brothers are trying to make this another race about President Obama, but its about police in Anchorage and education in Anchorage.
The AFPs 30-second radio ad starts with a narrator asking, Has President Obama been good for Alaska? A clip of Berkowitzs voice begins to play.
Barack Obama has been a fairly centrist, left-of-center president, Berkowitz can be heard saying. Weve got massive amounts of stimulus money. ... On balance, hes been pretty good for us.

The very wealthy have always infiltrated nearly all levels of hierarchy.

Ethan's undoubtably gonna blow this all on his own.

The only thing that might save him is the number of conservative candidates.

Get the lazy among them addicted to using boilerplate produced by A.L.E.C. get the politician accustomed to accepting the libertarian cash... in just a few years the yield is Koch-sucking politicians all across the country.
