treat him with affection and honor:
Body and soul, he scours all clean,

This makes me think that the tea party really does have a purpose.
An arm of the destruction which makes room for new and good
to come into existence. "Body and soul, he scours all clean, babbling
about this and that."
Sarah Palin in particular comes to mind (I wonder why) and others
of the far right who want to tear everything down.

(30,947 posts)It's affect and not effect. Effect is a noun. Affect is a verb.

(34,060 posts)effect is also a verb. It is just that in this case the verb needed is affect (have an effect on), not effect (to bring about).

*A fair number of my family are definitely not as smart as dogs. Don't get me wrong, they are nice people most of the time but doggies would beat them hands down in 'smartness' tests.

(86 posts)Every dog that I have ever had the privilege to be part of my family, has been smarter than ANY teabagger. And that is nothing compared to how much better they were to know.
