During the Lewinsky imbroglio Calvin Trillin aptly described the Sabbath days talkers as the "Sunday morning gasbags."

(15,226 posts)Even the dullest of sheep eyes glaze over at the mere thought of "Meet the Press". After the Obama administration did a media blitz on these fossilized old TV formats only the biggest fool would ever consider using them as some sort of way to provide an official response. Instead any one who goes on the shows needs to encourage the jackass egomaniac hosts to spill their guts by asking them multiple asinine questions. For example Lindsey Graham could ask Chuck Todd why he did not finish College and how he got such a lucrative gig where all you have to do is follow a script. But alas you have to agree to the script before you go on. Those Government officials who use the show for a CIA authored response need to realize they may be Benghazied. There are other better formats to spread propaganda.
