So a Clinton candidacy means we have to put up with Lanny Davis on TV again?

not that the RNC has any room to talk about human rights here, but the Hannity-loving Davis and his contemptible clients of miltary coup plotters and dictators should be persona non grata with Dems, and I'm not looking forward to eight years of the supposed 'left' side of debate on TV again being defined by the corporatist "Clinton defenders."

What's next? The return of Dick Morris as a presidential advisor to tell the Clintons to again triangulate pass another GOP agenda?

Lanny Davis, one of Hillary Clinton‘s biggest defenders over the email controversy, got really heated with CNN anchor Brianna Keilar tonight when she confronted him for his unyielding defense of Clinton. He compared this controversy to how the media “hyperventilated” over Whitewater and said, “There’s no story here, everything she did was legal, accessible.”

RNC official Sean Spicer made things a bit more personal when he took at shot at Davis for his firm representing nations with a “horrible human rights record.” Davis lit up and went after Spicer for “attack[ing] me rather than facing the facts.”

Keilar got things back on track and told Davis it’s “fair to say that she violated the spirit of this regulation.” Davis shot back that it’s just her opinion, but Keilar told him she’s hearing this from Democrats. He kept insisting it was not illegal, and Keilar told him point-blank, “You’re setting up a strawman.”

Davis retorted, “Brianna, if you interrupt me and don’t interrupt somebody who smeared me and lied about me, then I’m sorry, that’s not appropriate.”

You will see him every day at the press conferences, answering questions.

answering the question asked of him by Brianna. It was really inappropriate. I've never seen one pundit do that to another. Shows you that the GOP is going for the Clinton jugular. It is going to be a messy messy election season if the GOP send out their pundits as on air assassins. I am guessing they don't just want no decent people to run for office, the GOP want people to be afraid of becoming Clinton surrogates also. That was really personal and really targeted. I was shocked.

every time another Clinton scandal blows up.

His job is generally to fling poo at whoever it is that's alleging some new slimy dealings by his employers.

And it appears he has some dirty linen of his own that needs to be aired.

He's probably the lamest, but far from the only, Clinton surrogate who has been dispatched to the pundit circuit to smear anybody who raises questions about emailgate. The whole army of spokesturds was in evidence last weekend, it was like an unpleasant deja vu from the 90's.
