Kevin Spacey to deliver CNN White House series

Kevin Spacey, who plays a U.S. president on "House of Cards," will produce a CNN series about real candidates running for the White House..


CNN billed the show, currently titled "Race for the White House," as "a thrilling, six-part mini docu-series" that will run next year.

Spacey will narrate each episode, and each installment will focus on one campaign.


Jeff Zucker, president of CNN Worldwide, said in a statement: "When we created the CNN Original Series brand, this is exactly the type of programming we had in mind, and 'Race for the White House' will be the perfect complement to our coverage of the 2016 campaigns and election."
