Power needs to count for something, right? The problem, of course, is they never won on policy. They won on turning out more Obama haters than we turned out Democratic voters. So when it comes to governing, they've got nothing except theatrics. There'll be more of that because their base (and their underwriters) expect/s, something, anything, to change as a result of the midterms.

(2,388 posts)If I were Iran and saw my window of opportunity for an agreement slipping away with the rise of a new wave of anti-Iran war mongering Republican insanity in America, I would certainly be motivated to achieve a solid agreement with Obama tout de suite.
