Missouri GOPer Caught On Fox News Open Mic: 'That Is Terrible TV' (VIDEO)
Missouri's Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder (R) blurted out "that is terrible TV," apparently unaware that his mic was live, while appearing on the Fox News program "Hannity" on Thursday night.
After airing interviews that a Fox correspondent conducted live on the ground in Ferguson, Mo., host Sean Hannity turned to the lieutenant governor for his thoughts on renewed protests in the city.
While Hannity was introducing him, Kinder sighed and spoke over the host.
"God, that is terrible TV," he said, looking off camera.
Hannity seemed caught off guard. "Well," he said, and continued his introduction. Throughout, Kinder didn't look at the camera.
When it was finally time for him to speak, he remained silent.
"Peter, can you hear me?" Hannity asked.
"Oh, I can hear you, I thought you were coming to me after the break, Sean," the lieutenant governor said.
