Et tu Steve Kornacki?

He doesn't get it. He is bashing Hillary based on all the hysteria the right wing squawk machine pounded her with in the past. Remember all the faked outrage and Ken Star million dollar investigations? The right still gets to ask all the questions and determine the topics. Stories about republican real scandals never are talked about. Even republicans doing the same thing she is being accused of.

Even MSNBC is on board. It's disgusting. How long till they bring back Whitewater and futures trading and travelgate and the chocolate chip cookie recipe? It would be nice if someone from the left wing (so-called) media told them they're full of shit.

Democrats.

The simple reality is that, these days, few on the left are going to criticize a prominent Democrat publicly, no matter what, just as few on the right are going to criticize a prominent Republican publicly, no matter what.

Ergo, most criticism of Democrats is likely to come from the right, just as most criticism of Republicans is likely to come from the left. Neither automatically makes the criticism correct or wrong.

Criticism of a politician has to stand or fall on its own merits, regardless of source.

People on the right used to say Tim Russert was a "liberal" because he had worked for Moynihan and Cuomo. I always thought that Russert's stints with Democrats were irrelevant to what he did at NBC: Russert was a rightist pretending to be objective.

Kornacki is just collecting a paycheck. He just reads the script the producers and editors give him.

And of course, you can count on Chris Matthews to bash Hillary on every show because he hates the Clintons. Bill wouldn't hire him as a speech writer so he has been bashing the Clintons ever since. Most of MSNBC will want Jeb Bush.

10. MSNBC moved (slowly, but perceptibly) to the left during Bush's last term, too.

Bringing in Olberman in 2003 may actually have been the first step, but I didn't see it that way at the time. I really noticed around 2006, as Matthews transitioned from delighting in Bush to becoming more and more critical of him.

However, MSNBC is under NBC News which, IMO, has always been rightist. Ultimately, MSNBC does what it feels it must in its struggle for ratings (and therefore sponsors).

had a commercial last night touting his "In Depth Look at the Clinton Email Scandal" last night. Not of course a word about the infamous 47.

I wanted to blow up the TV.

Maybe he doesn't remember, at least not in a way that recognizes how many of the "Clinton scandals" were plain horseshit, just balls of dung thrown by conservatives so that the Clintons would always have an "odor of scandal" around them.

And a MSM that got very excited about repeating all of it.
