The president and the press

The president and the press

http://www.cjr.org/analysis/the_president_and_the_press.php

A Columbia Journalism Review study of the Obama administration’s relations with the press across two presidential terms reveals “a White House determined to conceal its workings” from journalists and the public. This confirms what many critics have been saying for years — that far from being the “Most Transparent Administration Ever” as promised, the Obama White House is incredibly opaque, with stories involving the president and his image being carefully managed from behind the scenes.

What about a traditional media in bed with corporations and the GOP?

Obama is not being opaque, he is trying to be transparent through social media instead, through a media other than the corporate Iron Curtain.
