Thanks for sharing it here A HERETIC I AM!

Malia's a beautiful young woman. I'm glad she's been able to retain her privacy. I wish her all the best in choosing a university.

And of course, I wish all the best for President Obama, Michelle and the entire family.

I voted for him in the primary and both general elections.

Of all the votes I've cast his is the ones I'm most proud of. I'm 66, dang near 67 yo too. So there is a quiet a few to pick from too.
I like, I love my President. Does he always do as I wish? No, but I have no problem with that as no one can be just like me. For the general direction he leads I like

President Obama will be remembered as one hell of a good guy who was an awfully good President. The best in my years thats for sure.

I think history is going to be as kind to him as it will be increasingly brutal on bush/cheney. President Obama will be remembered for mostly good things. LOTS of remarkable accomplishments. He makes me proud to be an American. On the other hand, the teabaggers and GOP and other political whores make me ashamed.

The pic, though nearly 5 years old, showed up on my Facebook feed and I thought it was...well....perfect.

I like the guy. I really do. If he hadn't pursued politics, he had a great future as a humorist or a stand up, honestly. The way he handles himself, his timing, his subtle smiles when he knows something he said is funny..just kills me. I really do enjoy watching him speak, especially when he is , as the English say, "Taking the piss" or as we would call it, pulling your leg or having you on.

Not to mention he is CLEARLY in love with his family.

Such a contrast to the man he replaced and HIS daughters, eh? We never saw them (or very little) and that was by design I am sure. The PTB knew they were an embarrassment.

But not the Obama Daughters. Perfectly lovely young ladies who it has been a pleasure watching grow up in the White House.

i might, i say might, get over having them move to new york instead of back to chicago if he were to have ANY sort of teevee presence. but i think he is so funny. he would be just perfect in a letterman type format.

i heard so many stories on the campaign trail from peeps from way back when. i have trusted that he is the good and kind and honest man that he appears to be. those girls show that they have been raised by brave, loving hearts.

I love that Grandma is with the family too. I've always thought that was really cool and a beautiful message to send to others (although not necessarily their intent). I recently saw Sasha for the first time in a while and was shocked at how she's blossomed! She's shot up and doesn't look like a kid anymore.

I'm going to miss the Obamas.
