Food preparers at Panera Bread will now be recorded on video

Source: Business Insider

Panera Bread is going to start recording the people who make its food.

The fast-casual company is testing a program where "for a set period of time, it makes video recordings of employees making food," according to Nation's Restaurant News.

Panera Bread's managers and executives will then review the tapes to see if menu items are being prepared correctly.

The new surveillance is part of Panera Bread's push to improve order accuracy and customer service.

They changed my favorite sandwich and now I don't really care for it anymore. Bummer.

Now they call it the Asiago Steak sandwich. It's different and I just don't like it nearly as well.

Maybe I'm being picky, but dammit, I'm an old broad and it's my prerogative.
