Draft Nuclear Deal Would Cap Iran's Centrifuges At 6,000 For Decade: Officials

LAUSANNE, Switzerland (AP) — A draft nuclear accord now being negotiated between the United States and Iran would force Iran to cut hardware it could use to make an atomic bomb by about 40 percent for at least a decade, while offering the Iranians immediate relief from sanctions that have crippled their economy, officials told The Associated Press on Thursday.

As an added enticement, elements of a U.N. arms embargo against Iran could be rolled back.

The very existence of a draft in circulation provided perhaps the clearest indication the sides were nearing a written agreement as they raced to meet a March 31 deadline for a framework pact. The deadline for a full agreement is the end of June.

and I have no doubt that the republicans will do everything to sabotage any agreement.

It will be interesting to see just how stupid the American people are with regard to the republican bullshit.

I do not have high expectations for the American populace

The idiots effectively voted for war in the midterms

who put 250 marines into Lebanon, even though he was warned they were vulnerable to attack. Reagan, who deregulated the S&Ls even more, because he TRUSTED the private sector, and of course who could forget the Iran/Contra fiasco, in which he should have been impeached. Of course his encouragement for the fighting between Iraq and Iran was as immoral as it comes

Yes, it was reagan type bullshit that made Iran into what it is today starting with the same mindset of our overthrowing the Democratically elected Iranian government in 1953

I think we have done enough damage with republican policy toward Iran

I won't even go into the garbage he did in South America.

That's not the same thing as being wrong about a concept...

Even a chump can say something smart every once in a while.

bush administration when the UN inspectors said their were no WMDs in Iraq, they still invaded.

Just for arguments sake, lets say Iran had a nuclear weapon. Pakistan has nuclear weapons, and they are far more unstable than Iran. In fact Iran knows perfectly well that if they did a first strike with nuclear weapons against Israel, not only would Israel retaliate, but so would the United States. That is what peaceful co-existence is all about.
