LOST 1919 Harry Houdini silent film will be shown at Turner Classic Movies Festival 3-29-15!
We are delighted to announce the recent restoration of The Grim Game,
which will premiere this weekend in Hollywood. The Grim Game (1919), a
silent feature starring master illusionist Harry Houdini was long
thought to be a lost film. The complete film was discovered in
2014 in the Brooklyn apartment of a nonagenarian magician, juggler, and
film collector Larry Weeks. The restored version will premiere at the

Classic Movies Festival on March 29 and will also air on the network
later this year.
Film preservationist and producer Rick Schmidlin spearheaded the
restoration project, which was produced in association with NYU
Libraries' Barbara Goldsmith Preservation and Conservation Department.
