I have a DVR, so I can watch Chris Hayes at a convenient time. MSNBC is going downhill very fast. The loss of Joy Reid's show was the big red flag. Even Rachel Maddow has had a couple of shows where she was almost incomprehensible in her Middle East information. It was like she was being forced to say something, but she could not bring herself to toe the corporate line completely. The show where she was interviewing some right wing nut pushing for American involvement in war in Yemen was the worst. I had just watched the PBS Newshour where a real expert in Yemen had stated clearly what was going on in Yemen was nothing to panic about and had little to do with Islamic extremists. I was surprised to hear such a reasoned and knowledgeable person on PBS. Then to hear the lies pushed on TRMS was really quite distressing.

Joy Reid show was removed after she would not go along with the President Obama bashing after his excellent prayer breakfast speech. Her loosing her show was a warning to the other hosts to toe the Comcast/GE corporate agenda. I hope Rachel Maddow can somehow keep her job, so we can get some progressive news out of the corporate owned news media.

We must use our critical thinking skills. I understand why Kornacki is toeing the corporate line. I just cannot stand to watch him do it. Rachel Maddow is better at negotiating that fine line between being a shill and trying to still get out some real news to her listeners.

and I don't want to bash her but I don't hear the passion in her voice anymore. I bet she has bosses that have an agenda and yeah she wants to keep her job. That's just what I see right now but I have faith in the future just got to go thru some rough spots too.

up. I watch these shows because they present a left leaning point of view for the same reason that I watched Walter Cronkite years ago. The channel is definitely destroying that. If I want to listen to the rw I can watch morning joe.

But if I want to get TV news I am probably going to choose MSNBC until something better comes along
