Indiana’s Religious Freedom Law Sparks Controversy and Backlash (Video)

The shock wave generated by Indiana’s newly passed Religious Freedom Restoration Act, which permits business owners in Indiana to refuse services to customer’s who conflict with their religious viewpoints, can still be felt from coast to coast. Many have spoken out against the act, including Hillary Clinton, George Takei, Larry King, Ashton Kutcher, James Van Der Beek, Audra Mcdonald, and others.

“Sad this new Indiana law can happen in America today. We shouldn’t discriminate against ppl bc of who they love.” #LGBT

-Hillary Clinton (@Hillaryclinton) March 26, 2015

Outraged over Indiana Freedom to Discriminate law, signed today. LGBTs aren’t 2nd class citizens. #BoycottIndiana #Pence
-George Takei (@GeorgeTakei) March 26, 2015

Indiana’s anti-gay ‘Religious Freedom’ bill signed by Gov. Pence is absurd & insulting. This is 2015. Ridiculous. #RFRA
-Larry King (@kingsthings) March 27, 2015

Celebrities are not alone, however. Businesses and organizations across the globe have spoken out against Governor Mike Pence, including Apple, Yelp, SalesForce, Angie’s List, the NCAA, and the LGBT Athletic Association, among others.

I don't know what to say anymore. Ugly bigots that wish to say they are better than everyone else, they are more pure, they are righteous. Their love is right and yours is not. Fuck that! Their love is pure, no it is not any more pure than yours. I will fight for LGBT rigths.
