I've created a Facebook page for info on "Religious Freedom Restoration Act" and other ...

equality issues. The goal is to serve as a clearinghouse for people to share information about events, pending and passed legislation, and opportunities to advance equality for the LGBT community, women, and minorities.

I'll grab headlines from here at DU and wherever else I find them, but I won't have a ton of time to manage this on a day-to-day basis. Thus, I invite you to post to the page to keep the information flowing.

The page is www.facebook.com/equalityforallactivism

Put two laws/bills side by side, they are not the same. Can not claim they are the same. Fred Sanders Mar 2015 #5
Correct. The Indiana law signed by Mike Pants-on-fire, goes far beyond the Federal law. nt misterhighwasted Mar 2015 #6

And finally, from another comment board:

"Funny the bill is 4 pages long, yet you included but ONE paragraph. Go back to school. There are things left out and put in that the federal law does not have. Fact. You are the one who is misinformed. Put both next to each other and read. You'll see it's not the same. LMAO is all I can say."

You might want to explain that some of the other 19 states with this law passed them a while ago and some now have LGBT as a protected class.

Good for you. I hope it goes well.

Feel free to use this

Included the image and an article from The Atlantic that explains the differences between this law and the other states' (federal, too) versions.
