Seriously though, it isn't all that surprising or unexpected. Nazis were none to "gay friendly", as a matter of fact, Jews and gay men were at the bottom of the barrel in terms of hate, even in the camps by other prisoners. The men with pink triangles had to wear those triangles not only on the front of their uniforms (1/3 bigger than others so they were easier to see), they also had one on their back. Coming or going, spotting the gay was very easy.
