Touchscreen #1 wouldn't work for me. They discovered that the paper was out of balance and they needed to work on it a bit so I used Machine #2. A short ballot for me and no contentious issues but I voted.

Low-voter turnout just provides bigger margins to the R's

There really isn't a democratic advantage to high turnouts in WI anymore.

Big turnouts just mean the ballot has more at stake and both sides respond accordingly

The 15 second ad run by the conservatives for the referendum amending the constitution used variations on Democratic and Democracy 4 times. I'm pretty sure that was just to give the impression that dems should vote for it.
