What upsets me is the demands for money

from different democratic senators and even the National
Democratic Campaign for the HRC campaign on my e-mail.

First of all she has all the bank and corporate money,
Secondly I hope we get other candidates to run for 2016,
and Thirdly they make her out as the inevitable choice.

Thus I have cancelled all of those sites and will
continue to do so with the explanation that I shall
wait for other Democrats to enter the race.

If they will keep doing this I may just refuse
to support anyone.

anyone? I agree, continual requests are annoying. I didn't realize she had all the bank money though.

but I would refuse to help any campaign in other ways,
if they keep on insisting on it. If it were the HRC groups
asking me for money, it would be understandable, but
the NDC group and other Senators?! NO WAY!

it seems that I am deluged with begging emails, from sea to shining sea along with thirty seven other "liberal" media sites that need $5.00 from me in order to keep on begging for more money.

I am stretched thin. I have about $35.00 a month extra that sometimes I'd like to use for a small meal out or a movie, but even that isn't enough if something goes awry in the budget.

There is no way I can compete with the banking and finance interests, or the richie riches that can write checks for 5K on up.

5. President Ted Cruz will thank you for not supporting anyone in 2016

So the Repug scum line up all the billionaires to fund them and their terrible terrible causes, thus cutting down drastically on the endless (my word) "demands for money" from their own rank and file.

Then then the Democratic party and its affiliates have to send endless (my word) (I get them too) requests for money to their rank and file.

Rank and file Democrats get pissed off at the endless (my word) requests daily from so many different affiliates that they:

get turned off
stop contributing
sit out the election

So then, Citizens United: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

who seems to like to stop Obama's efforts with Iran.

So, I will wait, and watch my e-mail list shrink.

If you give to Joe Schmidlap, Democrat for County Dogcatcher, you get on every single Democratic mailing list. They all share your e-mail, postal address, phone number, and any other inf you might have given them.. According o my conservative neighbor, the GOP works the same way.

12. What upsets me is that we have allowed money to take over politics that at one time belonged to US.
Wed Apr 15, 2015, 06:49 PM

Letting Big Biz take over the 3 branches of government AND the mass media...there will be hell to pay one day, maybe not in our lifetimes. Plutocracies never have a happy ending. Just violence and bloodshed. And a lot of dead people.

However, maybe one day corporations will finally have enough money and power and resources to allow the labor force the privilege of something more than merely existing from one paycheck to the next.

For people that hate unions, it is strange how many do not mind living in one!

I think the fusion of commerce>politics>fundamentalism has sent us into a one way conflict that will not end pretty for those living in that time period.

Wall Street support as a reason for not giving money.
It takes PAC money to win because the cost is so high to run and individuals can't raise that much cash.
No Dem is going to run with small grass roots donations. Enjoy your wait.

15. If they want more money from us they should tell us how they will reverse the wealth redistribution
Wed Apr 15, 2015, 06:58 PM
Apr 2015

... that has happened over the last three decades taking our wealth away and giving it to the rich, that screw us over with their bigger donations to ensure that laws are written to enable them to do this more and screw us more.

I'm damned if I'm going to give money to those that aren't committed to and have a decent strategy of limiting the power of big money and to reverse the wealth gap that exists now. Otherwise my middle finger goes up in their direction.
