He's probably smoked his whole life. You'd be surprised at the number of athletes, especially in the past, smoked cigarettes. He disgusts ME because he is a republican and a conservative. According to him, he "believes in the Constitution" and that's why he's a republican. I guess he doesn't care that the people who disparage him and seek to destroy him for who he is, who judge him, and wish to block his civil rights, are conservatives. Liberals support this dude, and he says he "believes in the Constitution" and therefore he's a republican. Good Lord, if that's not disgusting, I don't' know what is.

Surprised by many of them. Tom Brady. John Elway. Anna Kournikova. Many European soccer players. Several baseball and hockey players. Probably a lot more in the 1970s when Jenner was an Olympian. Not nearly as common today but still not unheard of, kinda like doctors who smoke. There's a few.

Smoking - his choice. Like someone here said, he's been probably smoking all his life.
I'm glad that he finally came out and now he can live his life the way he wants it. I have a lot of respect for him and struggles. He deserves happiness just like everyoone else.
