Is Berniemania about what Bernie offers? or...

Is it more about what or who he isn't?

Much of the contents of this evenings threads seems to be about trying to convince everyone that he is not Hillary. At least that is my observation.

2. Yep

Here goes the noise machine.

I tell you, it's much more prominent on DU than it is in offline reality.

5. He says what no one else save Elizabeth Warren says.

And the graphic in this OP spells it out. http://www.democraticunderground.com/10026592259

6. He is not a corporate shill. His record in the house and senate speaks for itself.

No he's not Clinton, he's Senator, Bernie Sanders. Man for the people, not the corporations.

11. That is great!

Did you happen to get your handle from a Weird Al appearance on a certain animated show?

9. For me, it is about

his policies and voting record.

He fights for the needs and rights of the working masses.

He doesn't represent or vote for the platform of the 1%.

He represents (and his voting record proves) he cares about working people, poor people, unemployed

people, students, those who can't afford college, those who don't have health care, children's nutrition,

affordable child care, veterans, unions, etc.

He has never voted for a 'Free' trade deal.

He did not vote for the Iraq war.

He thinks Wall Street should be held accountable.

He thinks our infrastructure should be rebuilt employing 13 million people with

decent paying jobs.

I agree with his policies and positions.

13. Personally, I've liked his Democratic Socialism for quite a few years now

That's why I'm interested in his candidacy.
