http://www.huffingtonpost.com/Right now and often the Huff Post has pictures of Jeb Bush. All those pictures of him have a presidential look. Looking up at him, or looking quite presidential. There is a certain positive look. Don't believe it go there now and look. Huff Post is a picture site, the pictures tell the story. Now look at the picture of Bernie at Huff post. All the pictures of Bernie have him with his mouth open and not looking presidential..go and look now.
.Every picture of JBush..has had that look for the last 6 months..Every one...It is not a mistake. I have seen this.. This site favors Bush over the clown car..The pictures of the clown car residents often look kinda silly. That is what this site wants you and everyone who visits there to think. That is what Huff Post is. Almost all the pictures of Bernie have a negative look. Check it out if you don't believe me..

(16,423 posts)The articles are so sensationalist. And 75% of the stuff is click-bait.

The lead story at Huffpo at this moment is...
THEY GOT NOTHING
THE CLOCK IS TICKING AND REPUBLICANS STILL HAVE NO SERIOUS OBAMACARE ALTERNATIVE
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/
Why attack a Progressive news source???
A recent pic of Bernie at Huffpo~

He looks fine to me in these pictures.

...oh yeah, so right wing...
You're just upset your guy O'Malley doesn't get as good of exposure as Bernie does at Huffpo.

(45,481 posts)That's called integrity.
BTW, Thanks for the reminding me about the Simon post. If you look at his whole interview, and not just the Huff Post spin, Simon admits that he will vote for O'Malley if O'Malley gets the Democratic nomination.
RiverLover
(7,830 posts)BTW, O'Malley will get my vote as well if its just he & HIllary by the time the primary rolls around to my state. I'm hoping to see Bernie there too, or Someone Else who would get my vote instead. But I could see the preordained Pres & VP choices being the only ones left by then...
Still, there's no reason to bash one of the few progressive high traffic sites on the web.
FSogol
(45,481 posts)I'm truly exasperated!
BTW, are you aware that Mother Jones magazine considered O'Malley the best candidate on environmental issues?

(7,830 posts)So do a lot of other people. Its one of the most popular news sites & its progressive. We're lucky to have it!
Many non-politically-minded people go there & are exposed to progressive news they sure won't see many other places.
Just saying...but maybe I do need to chill.
Its just so strange to see a rare progressive news outlet that's incredibly popular with Americans be put down...at DU. Its weird.

(38,420 posts)Look at the angle of that picture of Jeb Bush... It is facing up, clearly facing up. As if he is to be looked up to..That one is still a positive picture of who they want to be president
Now why discuss the Huff Post?
1. Because hundreds of thousands go there.
2. It professes to be somewhat progressive, and really is owned by Right Wing jerks
3. Many people really do not know some ways that looking at a picture, can sway opinions
4. The picture of Bernie that was up there was quite negative and somewhat ugly. Open mouth like he was going off on something.(by the way, that photo is gone..not on front page.
5. I believe that tens of thousands go there for many reasons and know very little about who these people are in reality
6. Newcomers to politics will indeed be conned, I feel it is ok to expose this, at least here
7. While the Huff Post has many good writers who discuss some progressive ideas, it is my belief that tens of thousands go there for
a quick review of the news, and get the impression that the Huff Post wants to give. I recall many years ago, Playboy magazine had some great articles which very few people read. Now many really did read some article and those were very good..But that is not the reason why people bought Playboy magazine...
8...While it is still the Huffington Post, and A. Huffington may have been progressive, she sold out to a right wing company ( AOL
The Huffington Post, Parent organization )for three hundred million and some do not know that because she still has a strong presence there.
