The license plate does seem to say 1924 -- but the wooden wheels, carriage-like folding roof, and what seems to be kerosene lamps for headlights all suggest something a lot older. I would guess there were allowed to take the old truck over for thrills.

I do like the tattooed lady, though. Now I've got "Lydia" running through my head.

I thought they would be copies of photos I've seen many times before, but they are all new to me. Nice site that is.

One of the other collections has a picture of JFK making out with Marilyn Monroe at the White House. Pretty big scoop!
