just because someone has a different view on a subject or shares a personal story is not liberal. Calling someone names and such should not be tolerated. IMO it is very "Fox News like" and slander is not the way civilized people work out problems. Just wanted to put this out there.

while far fewer topics are aimed at Republicans. It's a huge turnoff to see so much nasty, one on one, personal infighting while the damned Republicas and their nefarious misdeeds skate right under our noses without so much as peep from the DU at large. If I wanted to read anti-Democrat claptrap I'd go to a rightwing forum, but thanks to a lot of people here, I can get the same bullship served up fresh daily right here at DU.

I just have no patience to read through all the vindictive, bitter, rancorous jibes against other Democrats to tease out a snippet of worthwhile information when I can get it elsewhere without the melodrama.
