http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/06/10/1392082/-Woman-Involved-in-Starting-McKinney-Pool-Fight-Placed-on-Administrative-Leave-by-CoreLogic-IncWhile the primary focus of the incident in McKinney, TX has been calling for the termination of now resigned Corporal Eric Casebolt, Twitter launched an impromptu campaign to identify the two women confirmed to have made racist comments that led to the fight and the police being called in the first place. The video begins with an adult white woman and what appears to be a much younger African American girl locked in a fight, with each holding the others hair attempting to throw punches. A group of black teens initially act as observers but eventually try to separate the two. Another woman, now known as Tracey-Carver Allbritton, at first seems to be trying to break up the fight, but quickly decides to start throwing punches to the top of the younger girls head. After a few seconds the fight is broken up and both parties go their separate ways.

(111,233 posts)The bigot who started it all is facing some consequences, not the least of which is that her name is now out there, a name she has made ugly.

(12,806 posts)The story says she at first appeared to try to break up the fight, then started throwing punches. Sorry, I have not seen the video since I'm using my phone right now (saving bandwidth) but how can she have started a fight she tried to break up?

(115,677 posts)trying to pull them apart. There is yelling going on but I can't hear well enough to tell who is yelling what.
This woman appears to be trying to pull the other woman away, but the other woman is holding onto the girl's hair. The girl grabs the unnamed hair pulling woman's hair as hers is being pulled by unnamed woman who is being pulled by this woman. Then this woman hits the girl on the head several times.

(6,930 posts)I truly can not imagine why anyone resorts to fighting.
If the woman has been identified, then the assaulted young girl will (I hope) press charges. What about the first woman?
The video is difficult to really see what is happening, but there is certainly an assault in progress.

(2,899 posts)'She's a good woman. The fact that I am black and I am Larry's lifelong friend speaks for itself.'
Mr Clark, who is black, said: 'I have known her husband Larry since college in California and he and Tracy are like a brother and sister to me.
'I will not believe that Tracy would ever use any racial language. None of us were there when the police arrived and everything else went on.'
Mr Clark, 47, a hospital technician, said Tracy and he friend had tried to inform a group of teenagers that the security guards were checking resident passes before allowing anybody else into the pool area.
'They were leaving and when they spoke to the group of young people, a white girl accused them of being racist.
Here's your 'racist' that you all seen to want to be ruined.

The video was unclear to me. I think eventually the full truth will come out.

(2,899 posts)Let's not start the child/girl bullshit again. From what I understand the black woman is an adult.
The initial story that some people tried to sell was that white folk didn't want black folk in the same pool as them.
I am sickened to see the race baiting in this day and time. I was hoping we had progressed more in the last 40-50 years. People are trying their damnedest to stir up or create racial tensions once again. WHY?

(115,677 posts)that. She punched the much younger "woman" in the head several times, on video. I can not hear what she is saying, but she is punching the 19 yr old. "She is punching her to get her off the other woman", the woman pulling her hair? And that makes it OK to punch her repeatedly in her head? That is what I disagree with. How about instead getting her friend to, oh, let's imagine, maybe let go of the 19 yr olds hair?
I am sickened to see people defending rambocop and people calling others racist names. Calling these girls n* and telling them to go back to their section 8 housing? THAT disgusts me.

(2,899 posts)I was upset when I saw Tracy's little kids crying in horror as their mother found herself in a horrible situation. I have a feeling that Tracy doesn't get into fisticuffs on a regular bases, if ever.
I'm also upset that there is hue and cry to ruin Tracy forever, without waiting to see what actually happened.

(2,065 posts)this site over the whole incident, it has left me a bit disillusioned with this board. I live in Plano which is near Mckinney, so I've been interested in the story.
One cop was clearly out of control and should be in a lot of trouble for his actions. But watching people twist things to try to make angels or demons out of every single other person on the scene that day has just been utterly ridiculous.

(2,899 posts)My first reaction was the same as your's as far as that cop. He was way over excited. There's no need to speak to people like that. He should have been the calm one. I hate the way people jump to conclusions here.
