of white people racism and black people's hair

Teach school in a small southern town where everyone knows everyone's business and I know a lot more people's than most due to my job. Well so there was this white girl from this really racist family who got herself pregnant with a black guy. They had a very dark skinned, curly haired daughter. To make a long story short both parents have substance abuse issues issues and the white racist (hopefully much less so now) grandparents are now raising the little girl and learning how to groom her hair. The point of this story? Dunno other than maybe everyone should reproduce outside their race to help tjeir racist loved ones?

Anyway, slice of life around here.

and have children and then grandchildren --- there are still people here who will jump at the chance to call you a racist. I speak from experience.

The experience of others from time to time- and I learned a few things. But I've never been called a racist - that would certainly make me reflect on my behavior of I had.

Their role models are people like Beyonce, who hide their natural hair under a blonde wig of straight European-looking hair. From the youngest age shame is associated with their natural hair and they're brainwashed to think hot irons, chemicals and wigs are the standard to which they should aspire.

to us about race, and I suggested to her everyone should marry somebody with a different skin color, because then the problem would go away. This suggestion did not meet with the wild acclaim I expected: there was a long silence in the room. The experience helped me form the conviction that grown-ups are sorta stupid

haven't seen the people for a few years though.

Years ago when I was 18 -- I was working day labor or mostly anything I could find. There was a guy from the neighborhood that was older -- he was friendly, funny, and got along great with him at work. Would I told him I was saving $70 or so because my girlfriend (now ex-wife) at-the-time asked for it for a hair appointment. He was friendly ribbing me for it over it. Eventually, in seriousness he guessed correctly that she is black -- something to do with the costs but I have no idea how much costs vary for women -- my haircut costs about $10 or so. I had no idea he was a racist or much of America for that matter but certainly my relationship opened my eyes to it. He said that he "didn't have a problem with that" but asked of me to "not have any children" with her because of something like white people were becoming extinct referring to the upcoming demographic trends.

6 years later I run into him in the neighborhood, comes up to me says "I have a black girlfriend just like you&quot not anymore at-the-time--he didn't know that). This was a very bizarre relationship on so many levels due to his racism and her sociopathy and without a doubt she is but he may have or could have had a child with her. She certainly did have a child though I'm not sure who the biological father is because when he was away after she told the same guy she is pregnant, I see her somewhere else with a different man who was very celebratory over she isn't pregnant or not pregnant anymore which is odd because she still gave birth.

His parents are very Republican and racist but were somewhat open to his girlfriend but with her toxic behavior came the racist rhetoric but I have seen any of the people for a few years now. We used to live across the street from each other so I ran into them quite a bit over the years.
