Man who shot at Zimmerman in road rage incident charged with attempted murder.

http://news.yahoo.com/prosecutor-upgrades-charge-against-zimmermans-shooter-183733453.html

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — A prosecutor on Thursday upgraded to attempted murder the most serious charge against a man accused of shooting into George Zimmerman's vehicle while they were driving down a busy road last month.

State Attorney Phil Archer charged 36-year-old Matthew Apperson with attempted second-degree murder. Apperson had been charged earlier with aggravated assault and battery for firing a gun into Zimmerman's car during a traffic run-in last month on a busy road in an Orlando suburb. Zimmerman had minor injuries.

As seen in the Zimmerman case, FL has a bad habit of overcharging, thus blowing any chance of a conviction.

The legal system never cared about dead black folks...

I believe it was a case of the prosecutor's reach exceeding her grasp.

She was pandering for white votes and didn't want a conviction. It was time for her close-up, her audition for higher office which wouldn't come if she convicted that creep of killing a black man.

1. Prosecutors advance through their successes. Getting the conviction would have carried her quite far. In a high profile case of that sort, a conviction would be the career-high feather in her cap.

2. If I'm to believe that white people wouldn't want to elect her for getting off the guy who killed a black kid, then wouldn't those be the same sort of people that wouldn't give a fuck about a Hispanic killing a black person in the first place?

Doesn't sound like it because the battle with that killer's supporters raged for months on this very site. Sorry but to inform you but zimmerman was a cause celebre for white racists all over the country not just in Florida and Corey knows whose votes count in Florida (the fact that zimmerman was half Hispanic didn't matter to them. He was a hero to them because he killed a black kid).

To your first point: We're talking Flori-duh here. Not convicting zimmerman in Flori-duh was the success she sought. Just look at what happened with the jury. That was a microcosm of Flori-duh's voters. The five racist whites on that jury convinced the one POC to vote guilty. 5 to 1, get it?

Point number two: See my paragraph above.

this had nothing to do with "over-charging", and the jurors interviewed afterward confirmed it...

EDIT: I know who you are and I'm not getting dragged down into this bullshit again...Believe whatever the hell you want, and talk to my ignore list from now on...

He left a victim who can tell his side of the story.
