The component of the ACA that has allowed folks who previously couldn't get insurance to now do so is huge. But there's a big difference between being allowed to buy something and actually being able to afford it.

Health insurance and healthcare both remain incredibly unaffordable. And based on the fact that United Healthcare stock has risen 400% since the ACA passed, I'm guessing the ACA wasn't actually intended to make either affordable anytime soon.

My previous employer offered very comprehensive insurance (is that redundant?). They even covered most of my deductible. Now I'm in an ACA plan. Sure, it offers a lot of benefits, but I can't afford to use them. Going to the doctor is like shopping at Best Buy...if I don't have the money, I'm not buying a big screen tv. Just because I have the insurance doesn't it make it worthwhile. We've essentially ALL been pushed into a "catastrophic" policy. That pain in my leg could be cancer or diabetes or maybe just a bruise from snowboarding. But I'll have to pay $2000 out of pocket for an MRI, more for doctor visits, more for blood tests, more and more and more and more...until I've spent at least $3000, then I get a small discount. It's great that lots of people now have coverage. But I'll be one of those guys that won't get "into the system" until I've had a stroke or something, because I couldn't afford to visit my doctor to ask a question.

No doctor for me, unless it's an emergency and my kids take me to the state-run teaching hospital. All they can do is take my state tax return, and since I don't have any income...

But, I LOLed at the meme. Two out of three ain't bad, I guess.

Treasury Secretary, in a plan laid out in Stress Test, and laughed at by voters here, said it would be better to keep the banks healthy than save your home for you.

So the owners of this home were thrown in the street, along with 4 million other people during your administration, and the new owners rent it to 15 people working under minimum wage in the new jobs you are so proud of. Rent that costs so much they will never be able to make enough to buy the home from the investment company that picked up hundreds of millions in inventory for nearly nothing because of your policies which are turning this into a rental wasteland, here.

So is that dinner in your arms? We are hungry. The doctor can't provide food for all the people now on food stamps since you took over.

If your house was foreclosed in 2008 then it was started in 2007 at the latest. Obama took office in 2009. You poor soul.

And many are still there. You are correct, he assumed the responsibility. And walked away.

Like Jon Stewart said, he went to hell and back for the bank$ters, not so for working Americans. That's ok - he will have his 7 million to count while millions of kids scream for food.

http://money.cnn.com/news/economy/feeding-americas-vulnerable-children/index.html

1 in 5 kids on food stamps, millions who go home from school knowing they will not eat until they get back to school. This is what happens when people try to keep the deficit down so the bank$ters can do better.

So someone opening the door with a smart ass line like the above with a senior crow on his arm doesn't come across like you might think. Unless he brought that bird to eat.

But you are out for your ego, that is clear. Perfect place for you. Don't bother replying, you are transparent.
