CNN: "We don't have any time anymore" for US Constitution & Bill of Rights

Wolf has a panel of handpicked "nat'l security analysts" (read ex-CIA/Military war-heads)
talking about how 'we don't have time anymore" to "wait around" when monitoring
"potential terrorists" .. to "see if they are going to attack" ... Wolf nods approvingly..

Essentially saying that -- instead of surveilling and monitoring suspected terrorists, we need
to start rounding them up and/or lock them up .. very creepy. On what grounds again?

The rationale dominating the conversation was that ISIS now has a bunch of 'lone wolves"
willing to carry out attacks on the public, and the lead-time that's detectable from surveillance
is getting shorter and shorter, due to social media .. blah blah..

It's like ISIS is being branded as "The New 911" all over again.

7. Huh?

No, I'm saying rounding up 'suspects' without solid evidence is wrong, isn't it?

5. Any of these assholes talk about how when you break a country so bad, putting it back

together is almost impossible? Never mind unethical and immoral? That you can't control
what you'll receive as a consequence is nothing to talk about either, is my guess.

8. The only thing they were talking about "invading"

is your living room with a battering ram and a SWAT Team of thugs,
if you are a "suspect".

They weren't beating war drums exactly, to invade another nation,
only to conduct "preventative arrests" like in movie Minority Report:

like it's 2054 already?
"In the year 2054 A.D. crime is virtually eliminated from Washington D.C. thanks to an elite law enforcing squad "Precrime". They use three gifted humans (called "Pre-Cogs" with special powers to see into the future and predict crimes beforehand. John Anderton heads Precrime and believes the system's flawlessness steadfastly. However one day the Pre-Cogs predict that Anderton will commit a murder himself in the next 36 hours."

14. When these fools speak they anger me..they did not speak to why we have security risks, did they?

Could not have been anything we have done.... I should have been more clear about that earlier.

Besides, who the hell trusts them, they have proven less than honest. Laws, who needs stinking laws
is their mentality.

Thanks for the OP.

6. Wolf sounds like he lost it.

Credible evidence use to mean something for reporters.

10. Wolf's not a reporter. He's a mouthpiece.

Don't think he's ever been otherwise.

12. With ISIS, 5000 miles away, freedom goes out the window with due process, but with domestic terrorists, not so much.

Wolf gave up being a union payscale reporter, trading his ethics for being a well paid parrot for the MIC a long time ago.

And found a warm and friendly home for that kind of thing at CNN. Wolf is Fox material, soon he will go.

Ted Turner, can America ever forgive you?

17. Law enforcement does not believe in the 4th amenmdent

And unfortunately the courts have given the cops so much latitude that it's now impossible to draw it back.

19. Yes, we don't need a blue print for governance anymore. I've heard this said

before and I wish I knew where it's coming from. I mean it's stupid. Those documents are the guidelines for our laws to keep order and to keep from doing exactly what they are calling out for. When I brought it up to a local war head, that it's against our Constitution, he called it out of date.
