Handcuffed Teen Is Slammed Onto Floor, Knocking Her Teeth Out

https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=20&v=KcEk3FggMx0

Police brutality allegations were prompted when a police officer slammed a teen’s face onto a hospital floor. The young woman suffered significant injuries, including trauma to the head, face, jaw, and teeth. She also sustained concussion, migraine headaches, cognitive and memory function problems, closed head injuries, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD.)

The allegation of police brutality involves Colorado Springs Police Officer Tyler Walker and 18-year-old Alexis Akers."

A little bloodthirsty, but can you really blame him? I hate to throw a hide just because someone's emotions got the better of him, and the video *is* gut wrenching to watch.

calls for violent retribution would be perfectly OK.

But if it's a cop, well there are certain feelings you are just not allowed to express.

I wonder why *that* is? I've run across a disturbing number of...sympathizers/apologists. A lot come from The Gungeon (I know, BIG surprise there lol)

He lifted her completely up in the air, and then slammed her down! This officer should be removed from duty. If he can't control his temper he does not need to be dealing with the public!!!

No way to break your fall when handcuffed.

6. Cops need to be drug tested when they are involved in violent behavior. I think rampant steroid use

all this girl's lost function. For the rest of her life, until she regains it, he should have to pay.

Do you guys think the cop was on steroids?

9. This is the attitude that normalizes police brutality and allows it to continue

A civil society does not allow for police officers to rough up, let alone brutalize citizens.

11. You think the proper response to getting kicked in the nuts is to lift then throw a handcuffed teen

face first onto a hard floor hard enough to concuss her and knock her teeth loose?

Seriously? That is the only choice that cop had, the only thing he could have done?

to his nuts, COULD he have reacted like that -- lifting her, slamming her, kneeling there holding her down, talking to her... without showing the slightest pain himself? He was not holding himself, or bending over, or wincing. She did not connect.

But you're right, it's not surprising. I am not surprised by cop bullying, overreacting to the slightest challenge to their authority, misuse of their authority and power -- even if it's a woman half his size with her hands cuffed behind her back. That's what they do.
