Had nothing compelling to say. Didn't look presidential at all. Acted like he was entitled to the nomination. Reminds me of the rich kids in class who never really tried.

(47,803 posts)I think he comes across as moderate, reasonable, decent and smart.
Everything he says is total bullshit, but unlike a Cruzzer, and even a Rubio, I think people who don't really have strong political orientation would look and listen and see someone they'd trust, and has a lot of "good ideas." especially when compared to kost in the Clown Car.
Like I said, I think he's bad -- worse than his Dad and Bro. Actually he's worse then them -- more extreme and aligned with Big Bidness big time.
But I think a lot of "moderates" will see him as someone they could vote for.

(44,889 posts)He just has that lazy disheveled preppy thing going on - it doesn't seem like he really wants the job at all. It's just something his dad wants him to do.

(9,314 posts)I just don't see that he has anything going on at all. I wrote a thread about this a little while ago. In one sentence, trying to say it as politely as I could, I mentioned that his family had always referred to him as the "smart one." I personally could not see he was over and above a lot more smarter than George W. Bush.* One poster responded Jeb did not actually have to rise to the level of "smart" to have more on the ball than George W.
