I don't think his ideas have substance but he really, REALLY stands out in a party whose other candidates are complete stiffs and have always been boring stiffs. Walker, Jeb, Rand, Jindal, Kasich et. al have zero personality and presence. In fact they have less than zero.

When and if (Trump) finally stalls out or quits, the deep Republican divisions that he has successfully exploited will remain, bedeviling whichever candidate ends up with the booby prize of the nomination.
