The world is a beautiful place, but the greedy conservative types have made it mean and cold hearted.

That is such a comforting picture.

What a height difference!! But, of course, that is completely irrelevant.

Well done, kind sir. You are a true gentleman.

I guess I could check out the website shown at the bottom, but not sure what this has to do with "talent". I don't do much "surfing", just have a few sites I visit regularly... DU-GD has been my home page since I first joined here 9 or 10 years ago, either '05 or '06. I lurked for a few years and just read. Back then I was pretty much apolitical, though I voted in the Presidential Elections every 4 years since I was old enough to vote. I come from a STRONG Union family (LU 725, Miami, Fl) and always voted a straight Democratic Ticket. I couldn't afford to pay for the education I have gotten here!

Anyhoo... it's a heartwarming picture of another Decent Human Being, and I welcome another "Decent Human Being Blood Brother" to my club*.

* I try every day to live my life as a decent human being... treat people with kindness, show respect to others, help others any way I can, even if it's nothing more than a quick joke to make someone laugh when they were feeling down. This "club" exists solely in my mind, but I put it in print for the first time early Saturday morning here, http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=7142044 in response to a thread by Blue_In_AK... which could use a little attention, IMHO. I guess I'll kick it up since I already have it open. I welcome ALL Decent Human Beings to my "club".

Peace within, Peace between, Peace among...

"Nice" is a fine word but "kind" is better.

I was "kind" to others. That is what I want to be engraved on my gravestone, that I was "kind" to others.

She really looks like it's the most important thing in the world having him there. Yes, "kind" is the right word.
