HE IS A CLUELESS DOLT!!!

Of all the clown car contestants in the GOP circus, he and Marco Rubio bother me the most...most likely because they are both about my age and both far less qualified than me to be president and I am totally unqualified in my own right!

Walker is a craven puppet who seeks public office to lick the soles of the feet of the Kochs and their ilk. He has no ideas, no real policy aims and no reason to be president other than to serve the will of his paymasters. He makes me sick and I am highly offended by virtually everything he does. The world will be a better place in spades the day that weasel dies.

Rubio is just as bad if not worse. He is a charlatan of immense proportion and has a little redeeming quality as Walker (or for that matter damn near the entire GOP field).

While its fun watching the GOP eat its own, the sad thing is that these clowns are not REALLY running to be president...I don't think they really care all that much as a party about the White House....they are all angling for book deals, talk shows and cushy slots in the perpetual GOP noise machines...

Total obedience and obsequiousness to the Kochs must have been their only qualifications when they chose him (remember the phony phone call he fell for that was supposedly from a Koch?). You'd have thought the brothers would have had a wide selection of better educated and more personable and attractive budding politicians willing to sell out to them. The Kochs must think the average citizens are even dumber than they are.

What can you do when you're deliberately ignored like that? I dislike the guy quite a bit (especially since we're now a union household), but it's pretty unfair to direct very little attention to him at that forum and then bash him for being a quiet non-entity. Mon Sep 21, 2015, 02:56 AM
Sep 2015

In the last GOP debate, Jim Gilmore was omitted entirely. The rule applied was that a candidate had to be polling at least one percent to qualify.

Gilmore groused about his omission. The fact is, though, that anyone putting on a debate needs to apply some criteria. There are, I think, literally hundreds of people in each major party who've filed with the FEC as candidates. For example, we were saying there were 17 GOP candidates before Perry withdrew, but that's omitting Mark Everson. He's on almost no one's radar, but he's a former Commissioner of Internal Revenue, so he's at least a cut above the various loons who don't even have a Wikipedia article.

It's possible that, by the next debate, Walker could join Gilmore out in the front yard, with his nose pressed against the window wishing he could at least be at the kiddie table.

Scott Walker is a mediocre county executive who has risen far above his talents.

Now everybody knows and I'm loving it. Scott Walker is the Forrest Gump of state-level politics in Wisconsin. He's always won by being in exactly the right place at exactly the right time. Thankfully, though, this version of the story has "Forrest" skulking home in shame at the end of the movie, his very intimidated tail tucked between his legs.

2: Reagan was anti-union.

3: Being anti-union is wildly popular with the American people.

4: Scott Walker is anti-union.

5: Scott Walker is wildly popular with the American People.

They honestly believed the public would lift up Scott Walker and carry him to the White House on their shoulders, cheering all the way.

But then, Republicans are so tone deaf that they picture going home to a heroes welcome complete with a brass band for shutting down the government.
