US mass shooting at [add place]

http://eveningharold.com/2015/10/01/us-mass-shooting-at-add-place/

A gunman has shot numerous people at a US (college / school / mall / other).
Initial reports are that [add big number] have been killed and (add even bigger number) are seriously wounded.

Little is known about the gunman at present, but media are swarming to the area and will soon interview someone who will confirm the shooter appeared (completely normal and was a credit to his parents / to be a loner who kept to himself (note: change gender in unlikely event shooter is female)).

An NRA spokesman said the mass shooting at [add place] showed it was time for the goverment to attack the real problem of (mental illness / Islamic fundamentalism / something else (not guns)).

Please remember: There is nothing you can do without angering the NRA and risking your political career.

after this shooting...............

We may deserve Trump or Carson as President because we are already failing as a country.

I was a nursing supervisor at a hospital of about the same size. I tried to watch the interview of the ER doctor this morning but the reporters questions were so ignorant and redundant it was painful.

I wanted that doctor to say over and over, "We are a level 3 trauma hospital, we sent the really bad stuff to a higher level, how many ways do I need to say that?" "No, I cannot comment on the condition of patients who were sent elsewhere......I do not know about them".

After all these shootings you would think we could at least have reporters who had a little better knowledge of how the trauma system works....they report on it all too regularly.

For those of you who also visit Facebook, the comedian Andy Borowitz had the most meaningful comments I saw.
