Sovereign Citizens Stage Anti-Government Festival At Tax Payers Expense

You just cannot make this stuff up! But it is true!

Only in GOP land!

County commissioners in 10 of Utah's southern counties are giving tax dollars to put on the Western Freedom Festival - an anti-government political event promoted as a celebration of Western heritage. The celebratory illusion is enhanced by country music star Darryl Worley, who will perform.

The festival is taking place on October 23rd on the campus of Southern Utah University in Cedar City. But now for the truth.

County officials organized anti-government ‘festival'

Not only is the event being publicly funded, but commissioners from Iron, Garfield, Beaver, Piute, Kane and Washington Counties organized it in the first place. And even though Iron County Commissioner David Miller objects to the characterization that the festival is political in nature, one look at the Conference Schedule shows how closely tied it is to the sovereign movement.

Relics. They eat and drink hypocrisy and are proud of their natural ignorance toward the world.

Let them foam, much safer having them all together in one spot imo.

Imagine the power that Commission would have if they didn't have to follow Federal laws, and if they are given the power to jump their own charters.

There is reasoning behind their madness. Not sure why we keep thinking they are just loons without a plan.

But they won't.

Eventually, you'll see a pattern emerge in these sovereign right municipalities. Local governments that push sovereign rights usually have support from unethical city attorneys and local judges who have land interests. Over time, because of their inattention to state and federal law they will leave their city open to lawsuits. These legal vulnerabilities will be exploited by developers and real estate interests. Of course, the city attorney will favor a settlement agreement, rather than to go through a costly court case. And that's fine with him, because an opinion from the courts has the potential to circumvent the city process. If everything is managed to be kept at a local level, don't be surprised to find the same judges and lawyers eating ribs at the monthly barbecues meet-ups or their equivalent.

That's how it starts.

Of course there will be shock and anger among the residents in the community, but all of it can be controlled by bringing in "a few good ole gals and guys" to help spread misinformation in the neighborhood. That's when the second stage begins.

Once you get the private interests involved, like the Chamber of Commerce types, it's game over. They become "ambassadors" to help spread whatever story is needed. I'm sure the bullying is just thrown in for good measure. At this point, the structure of the network will take on all the qualities of a racketeering organization. Apparently, it becomes too complicated for even the FBI to wrap their head around the problem.

The weakness of these kind of communities is that they become a house of cards. Eventually, they will piss someone off in their circle that will have the resources to bring them all down. But, trying to take them down from the outside, is near impossible.

Remember the Bundy bunch, well, this is just another chest thumping and finger in your eye Mr. Obama rally. If you have ever lived in Utah,or planning on moving to Utah, get use to this type of crap. This is part of the inherited culture of the area, and it is enforced by the local Politicians and their church.

As I said before, just more of the hate messaging and the so called defenders of the Second Amendment coming together to bash the BLM and the President. Call it what it is,a TeaBagger,Gun-Nut,hate Gays and Liberals get together, protected by the Iron County Sheriff's Department with help from the Cedar City PD.

(not full-frontal, in case you are wondering).

I was unfamiliar with and curious about this performer so I looked him up. Amazing what you can learn on wikipedia.

(I know this is barely on topic but I had to share...)

"Have You Forgotten?" - a "song" which attempts to blame 9/11 on Saddam Hussein

and

"Keep the Change" - which is just about as anti-Obama as you'd expect
