They are. If Google is your default search engine, you can type any basic mathematical calculation in the URL field, and Google will give you the result. Just use these operators:
+ - Addition
- - Subtraction
* - Multiplication
/ - Division
sqrt - Square Root
sin - sine
tan - tangent
cot - cotangent
etc.
You can also use standard paranthetical symbols to type in your calculation.
