8. Does the article even support the headline?
Biden told a friend who then told the press. Was it the friend to leaked the story or Biden?

3. I've become fascinated by your posting style.
You use the phrase "piece of shit" in so many of your posts, including OPs.
It's kind of interesting. |

4. I just read the article.
Well, they do have a point. It was Maureen Dowd who started the rumor back in August and everyone knows how much she dislikes the Clintons (Hillary in particular). I don't think that Biden should run, being in emotional turmoil is not a reason to run for president. He did abysmally the last two times that he ran. In 2008 he dropped out after the IA caucus.
I do like him as a person and feel for the losses that he has endured, but that's no reason to run for president. ![]() |

9. If he is such a poor candidate, why do you care if he runs?
This story does not surprise me in the least - nor change how I feel about Biden. The fact that story was out there for weeks with no Biden denial that it was not true always seemed to suggest that it happened. Otherwise, it would have been denied and called bad taste. I also thought it had to be someone close to the Biden family -- because who else would know.
So, does it change the story that Biden either leaked it or that Biden told a friend who leaked it or some other Biden confidant was there and heard Beau? Not to mention, does it help Biden or hurt him that part of his motivation to run is said to be the deathbed wish of his son? As to Dowd, I would guess that ANY reporter to whom this was leaked - intentionally on the part of the Bidens - would likely have reported it. I don't see how this helps him or hurts Hillary Clinton. |

10. My world doesn't revolve around Hillary.
I hardly even bother coming to this anti-Hillary site to comment anymore. Separately as to whether this may or may not affect Hillary's candidacy, I feel that Biden should retire on a high note when his term ends. In 2008 he barely got 1% of the vote before dropping out in IA. His previous run was even worse. Aside from feeling that his age, and Sanders too for that matter, is a factor. They are both already in their mid 70s. Heck, I even think that Hillary is pushing it at 68. Then again, she would be slightly younger than Reagan was when he got elected, if she does win.
Whatever, I'm just giving my opinion. Biden is obviously free to do whatever he wants. |
