An unnamed source close to Democratic planners says

That a surprise candidate will emerge following the first debate. The name was not disclosed, but the source said, not for attribution, "It will be a name everyone will recognize."

with the pukeworthy glorification going around DU of a neoliberal austerity huckster and sellout that proudly presides over a state with nearly 10 million living in poverty...that would bring some rousing cheers from some here "on the left."

I remember when Pat Paulson ran for president. He was a hoot on Laugh In, too. That show was groovy. Even my daddy watched it, and thought it was funny. Probably not as funny as Hee Haw, but still.
