yesterday I moderated small group discussions on immigrants, refugees, and 5 other topics. I talked about the many ways to communicate, and embedded art into a language arts lesson as a form of communication.

I met with volunteers, met with a student group working on various projects to help them organize and coordinate with others, and finally had a 90 minute staff meeting in which I had to discuss assigned reading with my colleagues.

Today?

Various writing projects, 2nd reading of a short story, some time to work on history projects, and a lot of racing around to coordinate those volunteers and students.
