Just saw an amazing panel discussion

with the first Indian mother to place a gay matrimonial ad for her son.

Fascinating discussion. The general agreement was that "legitmacy" is a very different thing in the US than it is in India. Indian legitimacy involves the family, workplace, and government.

Being gay is still technically illegal in India, and I want to really thank these panel participants for their courage.

That was amazing. One of the kids asking a question said he has studied LGBTQ employment issues for his MBA thesis and wanted to hear that Godrej and Google (the two corporate sponsors) wereally onboard with championing legal equality. Got a yes from both companies' reps.
