OKC police arrest senator's wife after unusual traffic stop

The wife of an Oklahoma state senator was arrested Sunday afternoon after a traffic stop....

The arresting officer said he observed the Loveless' vehicle enter I-44 westbound near Northwest Expressway at a high rate of speed. The officer said the driver was driving 4 feet away from vehicles in front of her.

The officer said Loveless drove for over a mile before she pulled over for him. Police said Loveless did not initially roll down her window to talk with the officer because she was texting.

After police took her driver's license, she started blasting music in her vehicle and said, "I'm sorry, my music was too loud to hear you," according to the police report.

Sen. Loveless is a Republican.
