I got a call from Ben Carson today.

I sat through the whole thing. He has an odd little voice, more noticeable when you're not being distracted by the normal-looking appearance.

He said the usual conservative things, ending with an "oh my goodness" kind of phrase (I forget the exact expression he used) -- about how of course he was going to repeal and replace Obamacare.

Unfortunately, there was no way to register my intense disapproval at the end.

That'll teach me to answer a "name unknown."
